Thinking of getting a tattoo? Ready to undergo the pain from being stabbed by a needle over and over and over again? If you are having any doubts whatsoever, here are eight signs you shouldn’t do it.
Dirty Tattoo Parlor
Look at the tattoo parlor. If it looks dirty, chances are the needles are dirty, too.
You’re Drunk or High
If you’re drunk, you’re going to bleed more easily. Plus, you make bad decisions.
You’re Putting a Girlfriend/Boyfriend Name on You
If you want to put someone’s name on your skin, make it your mom or your child’s. You know they will always be your mom or your child. Boyfrends and girlfriends, not so much.
Someone’s Pressuring You
The decision should be yours, not someone else’s. You have to live with the decision.
You Have No Idea What the Symbol Means
The last thing that you want to do is to tick someone off. If you put the wrong symbol on your skin, you might be making a statement you don’t want to make.
If you’re not sure you want to do it, wait. Tattoos can be removed, but it’s really painful and expensive.
You’re Too Young
First of all, you have to have a parent’s permission. Secondly, you make bad decisions when you’re young. Wait until you’re a bit older.
Tattoos are expensive. Even the little ones. And if you want color, it’s even more.
